Birel Q31, Tag, + frame and brake package - $2200
« Result #3 on May 19, 2009, 3:44pm »

I've recently sold my house and due to that, I really need to sell this kart, so I've just about halved my price. Everything listed below except the spare frame for $2200. $2400 includes the extra frame. Email me at ben.r.harding (at) gmail.com

I'm selling a Birel Q31 kart with a rebuilt Parilla Leopard 125cc motor, all set up for racing in the TAG series. I tried it for a year, had a blast, but I'm afraid everything must go! The motor has maybe 2 weekends on it. I'll list everything below but this kart also comes with a Birel R32 frame that has barely been used and a front disc package for road racing. This sale will give you everything you need to go karting. I might also sell my helmet and rib protector.

What is included:
- Birel Q31 Racing Kart
- Parilla Leopard 125cc motor (rebuilt by Riverlake)
- A kart that's ready to race
- Mychron 4 guage (http://www.aim-sportline.com/pages/kart/section_kart_mychron4.htm)
- Big pile of lead weights
- Transponder with wall and car charger
- 3 Axles (40mm)
- 2 seats. One small which is mounted and one really, really large.
- Set of aluminum wheels with new, never used, rain tires.
- Set of Magnesium wheels, no tires. (you would want new ones anyway).
- Rolling kart stand
- an 82 and a 83 tooth gear
- Birel R32 frame, pretty much brand new.
- Front disc package that should fit on either kart frame.
- Wheel alignment plates
- New radiator mounted on kart

Todd,
4 or more and they will make a class. You are almost there with just your family.

stockholm motorsports park has pratice tues thru fri for $40? a day (I believe) 320-286-6600 I would contact them if you don't have bumpers/nerfbars/hydraulic brakes, helmet, neck collar. but they do have rental karts with all that stuff... buy a dirt bike go to flattrackmn.com and read all about it! It's by far the CHEAPEST racing on the planet. unless you use your feet and do a 5K race!

where to drive home made kart?
« Result #9 on Jul 28, 2008, 5:50pm »

Hi all, I just finished building my kart and am trying to find a place I can safely and legally drive it. I've taken it up and down my block/hill, but the neighbors weren't so happy. I don't live in the countryside so I can't just take it around here.

Are there any tracks that have open race days or something?
