;D Yep, me again!
Is anyone using programmable ignitions? I have been looking at the SPI unit as it comes with software to refine the power curves to individual applications. I see that some of the SKUSA and Stars guys are running the Vortex x10 box and was curious about this system as well. Thanks for any advise

John, I would say that 99% of people that own a moto shifter also own a programmable ignition. Stick with the SPI unit. I cannot comment on the Vortex unit, but you dont see too many of those any more. If you're looking to buy one I would look for a used one, they are around $400 new.

;D Thanks Tom, I will start looking for a used one. Went to Swedetech to check them out and apparently there is a difference in the CR80 and the CR125 units so I will need to get the correct one for my "Small Block"

Hi, Yeah they use different units. You should come to the open house this sunday. There will be a lot of people there and its fun to see everyone over the long winter. If Mark carries Memo Gidley's Speed secrets book you should pick up a copy. There is a ton of good info in there. Tom

;D Hi All, I had planned on coming up as I have some parts waiting. Now if the weather will just cooperate a little! Memo Gidley's book is one of the items on my, ever increasing, shopping list. If Mark has a copy, I will definitely purchase same. I hope all my newfound on-line karting friends will be there so I can put a name with a face! ;D

John, Talk to Bob Betts about programable ignitions. He got set up as a dealer for the little black box and has the computer program to re program them. Mark
