;D Hi All, For those of you considering the purchase of a new data acquisition system such as the My-Chron 4 (If it ever comes!) or the Digitron Phoenix; here is an interesting alternative. www.blacklinegps.com/fuel.htmlThe FUEL GPS system has some advantages: You don't need to worry about the beacon being out at the track for your lap times. The map you generate is much wider than the My-Chron so you can actually see the line you are taking through a corner and adjust accordingly. The main disadvantage is no display. Just something to think about.

John, MyChron is working on the MychronGPS which does that and more. The track is not visible on the drivers screen but you can download your information to a laptop for viewing. You have the ability to get a 'birds eye' view, follow the kart around the track or pick any vantage point on the track and 'watch' the kart go by. Pretty tricky. They hope to have all the software bugs out soon.

;DHi All, Mark, the My-Chron GPS system sounds great! Any idea on how soon we will be seeing it at the track? I am still going with the M4 because of the upgrade aspect but I did check out the FUEL site and thought utilizing the GPS was an interesting concept. Now if I can just either win the Lotto or get a second mortgage to support my "habit" we'll be all set! And no, I still haven't turned a wheel on the kart!
